I have a confession to make - all my life I've considered Cavite my home but I've never explored this town yet. I hate to admit it but history doesn't really interest me. But in light of the Araw ng Kagitingan, my friends and I decided to take a look at Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite. Well, finally here we go.
The tour was quite short. History enthusiasts may find the trip down to memory lane enjoyable. Surprisingly for me, some trivias given by our guide, Ms. Meg, were quite catchy. I may not be the number 1 believer of Aguinaldo's leadership, but it's nice to visit a place where a huge part of the past took place.
By the way, the tour was free. Take all the pictures you can take because aside from the fact that the shrine is photogenic, the lighting (from the extreme heat of the sun) is superb!
